Discovered these things on the York trip. They are similar in taste and texture to Sweet Tarts and are a little bit smaller than regulation Lego blocks. Yes, they fit together very nicely.
I am guessing that in some areas these would be frowned on, for causing confusion in young minds between toys and candy. Oh well.
